Chase trudged along to the beach on the first day. He was behind everyone else because he initially refused to wear his hat. The poor kid was in a full body suit everyday so that we could try to protect him from the tropic rays.

Chase spent a lot of time admiring this man behind him (Russian Speedo Guy) and his family. Their 2 year-old had cool toys, like shovels and pails, which Chase would look longingly at until they let him borrow a few.
