Molly's Goats

Chase and Dave loved visiting with Molly's goats. They were cute but they attracted black flies.

Here Chase is visiting with chickens. Ten of them were killed by a black bear later that night.

Bros Shoot

Nana Sue and Papa Frank asked for some pics of the boys together, so I spent some time trying to get them to pose - a tough task for a 23 month old and a 3 month old.

These pics were taken right after breakfast, hence the food on Chase's shirt and the presence of Lovey.

We tried again this afternoon but only Max was willing to smile.

Poppy smiled too.

Farm Pick Up

Chase wore his cape to our first farm pick-up. There was little in terms of vegetables because Burlington flooded this Spring. So, everyone just hung out and enjoyed the sunshine instead.

Chase and His Girls

Above, with Livi. Below, with Lena. Chase likes girls.

Father's Day!

Max helped Poppy open a Father's Day present. It was so nice to celebrate with three generations!

More Outside

Spring Afternoons

We have turned our Spring afternoons into hours of lazing around and playing outdoors. We Vermonters really appreciate when the weather turns warm. So glad it is nice out!

Sunday, June 12, 2011

Probably one of the highlights of the weekend for Chase was the horse (actually mule) and carriage ride.

He also liked playing with the pig watering can that Grandy brought up.

We want to go back!

Family

The best part of the weekend was all the family bonding.

Everyone really got along and Max especially loved his second cousins.

Mohonk Mtn House!

Uncle Story invited us to Mohonk Mountain House for an Osborne family reunion. We arrived first so we had time to check out the grounds, go for a boat ride, do some fishing and take a hike before the rest of the relatives arrived. The location was absolutely beautiful!

Chase loved using his Sponge Bob fishing rod in the lake. Max was not too psyched about trying to nurse while wearing a life jacket.

We loved all the gazebos or "little houses" as Chase called them.
