Sugar On Snow

We visited Palmer's Sugar Shack in Shelburne for some seasonal sugar on snow (served with a doughnut and a pickle). Yum!

This Week

Lots of activity this week...

Max took a hike up Mt. Philo with us while Chase stayed home to torture Poppy.

We visited Dave's office and brought him a delicious lunch from Misery Loves Company.

We engaged in some general goofiness while building Max's new Busytown set.

And bored Poppy on our weekly outings to Buttered Noodles and gymnastics class.

Little Athlete

It has become increasingly obvious to us that Chase excels at some sports and is challenged by others.

Birthday, post-nap

Max woke from nap to a house full of balloons and friends and Poppy.  Happy Birthday, Max!

Birthday, pre-nap

Max decided to sleep in on his 2nd birthday.  Finally, at 7:45 we decided to wake him up so that we could eat a special birthday breakfast together before Dave left for work.  Next on the agenda: presents!

Chase provided "help with the tape" and secured his spot as First Examiner of the presents.

Then, we made some mini cupcakes to bring to Max's friends at school.  He was proud of his handiwork.

The boys enjoyed cookie-decorating at Panadero.  No need to eat the treats...we already had too much sugar.

Finally, we took cupcakes to Earl, Mrs. Handy, and Jeremy at Handy's and ate lunch at the bar.

Florida - Last Day

We spent the morning of our last day fishing.  Chase caught many perch but the highlight was the giant large mouth bass that he reeled in on his own (no pic - but I swear it was huge).

As we got on the plane, Max was invited into the cockpit where he got to "touch any buttons".  I was a bit worried that he would flip some switch or turn some toggle that would affect the plane's functions, but we were fine.
