Batty Bats

One of the many Halloween events - trick-or-treating at Shelburne Museum.

Big Pumpkins

The pumpkins were huge at Mazza's Farm!  Each kid chose their favorite.

Then, we got lost in the core maze.

More Lessons

Chase moved from his last soccer practice straight into swim class.

Leaf Peepers - Early October

We headed to Waterbury in early October to cheer on the Daves in the Leaf Peeper half marathon.

Yeah Team Ber/Gurt-Man!

Apple Season

It was great to use the apples we picked at Shelburne Orchards in a delicious apple pie and to share it with friends.

Fall Days - September

The boys raised butterflies again this year.  At first, we were worried that the chrysalis wouldn't hatch because they endured so much shaking and poking this year.   Luckily, 5 hardy Painted Ladies hatched!

In the afternoon, the boys and I took a walk to Whales Tails.

Soccer - September

Chase started soccer this fall.  On the first day, he chose his own outfit - the legwarmers served as shin guards.

Lake Buel - Labor Day

Of course, the Labor Day weekend involved some fun lake fishing!

Max caught his first fish all by himself.

And, then, everyone enjoyed more tubing and water-skiing.

The Berkshires - Labor Day

We loved visiting Nana and Papa in the Berkshires over Labor Day.  The highlight for the boys was making their first s'mores.

Heartworks - Late Summer

Chase and Max loved finding out about their new classrooms at Heartworks in Shelburne.

They came home from the Open House to a celebratory dinner of Bo Ssam.

Waterbury Resevoir - Late Summer

I'm finally catching up on some old pics.  At the end of the summer, we visited Jer & Kat at their campsite at the Waterbury Resevoir.  We started with a little fishing...

Chase loved driving the boat across the beautiful lake, out to the tent site.

After hanging out on shore for a while, Chase and Max went out for their first tube ride ever!
