Snowy Beach Weather

Third cousins are the best!

Fourth cousins may be even better!

2nd Skate

I took Chase to his second skating lesson and already he seems to have improved. He started skating on his own, still holding the milk crates. He lasted about 25 mins before getting absolutely exhausted.

First Snow

Chase celebrated the first real snow of the season by putting on some skis and "skiing" down our lawn and by building a snowman.

We also took a nice hike with Grandy....went well until Chase lost it and Dave had to rush him down the mountain to warm up in the car.

Thanksgiving

The dogs have been super psyched to have everyone around for Thanksgiving. I forgot to take photos of the weekend but we had Grandy and Poppy and Anna and Jon come up.

Max sported his turkey shirt that Steph made.

Itty Bitty Skating

Chase has started ice skating! I think that Dave and I are more excited than he is.

Max just chilled in a sled while we broke our backs zooming Chase around the rink.

Grocery Shopping

Chase and Max did so well driving this cart all through the grocery store. I hope that they can become playmates as Max gets bigger.

Chow

The dogs have been so psyched to have another messy eater in the family. They take their position looking for hand-outs every time Max gets in his high chair.

choc-a-late

Chocolate and ice cream taste so good!

Baby Max just has to watch others eat and feel jealous.

The Farm Barn

We met Cousin Robin at the Farm Barn this morning.

Chase loved checking out the goats, llama, chickens and donkeys.

He flashed me a great camera smile for this picture!

I tried to set the boys up for a holiday card shot. I am beginning to wonder if I should just send a card with this bad smile on it. Chase's camera smile makes it impossible to get a shot of the two of them.

Max checked out Pete before we ventured up Lone Tree Hill. Both two-year-olds walked the whole way!

Posed at the top with the view of Lake Champlain in the background then back down to the Farm Barn.

Suburban Chores

Dave seems to be spending every spare minute lately raking leaves. He has even put Chase to work.

In the video below, Chase shouts at me, "why are you naked?". I was NOT naked but I did decide to take these pics before I was fully dressed. Its funny he called me out on it.

Bathtime Babbling

Lucky for us, Max is still super cute and makes great expressions that can be caught on film.

I took this video just to try to catch some of Chase's endless babbling on film. He is playing imaginary games all the time now. He can entertain himself for ages by just talking. Below, he is talking to a little plastic man about going swimming in the tub.

Truly Photogenic

We dressed Chase up in some long unders (really baby legs) to take on the cold Autumn day. First, I put Chase in the ergo for a little walk with the dogs. Then, Brady came over and we strolled down to the fire station for a tour.

In the following pictures, Chase is really showing off his camera "smile". His photo-ready face is worse than ever! We cannot get a real smile out of him anymore. As soon as you demand a smile, he makes this squinty, angry-looking scowl thing.

Above, another great example of the camera smile.

And, one real smile....to show that he really is cute.

Chasey's Wife

Chase now refers to Sammy as his wife...hmmmm
