Great News!

Chase woke up this morning to some great news. A new swing of his own had arrived in the mail for him. Dave worked on getting it hung up in a birch tree in the backyard until he got distracted by a strong smell of feces.

Once the poop was taken care of, Chase was well on his way to enjoying his very own swing in his very own backyard!

Saturday Picnic

I feel like I have posted all these same posts before....is our life stuck on what Chase eats, swinging, and picnics in Oakledge Park?

Anyway, here is goes again....Chase loved his Saturday picnic with Samara. She loves him too. It is hard to get two babies to pose together, so these are the best shots I have.

Favorite Activity

Chase was back at his favorite pastime this weekend - swinging. He loved it so much that he did not mind when a random playground kid came over to push him. Chase also tried out the "big boy" swing with his daddy. That was fun too.

What Bedtime?

Chase stayed out way past his bedtime so that he could visit baby Gray again. Gray is growing up quickly! But, Chase still seems like a giant compared to him!

Grass

Chase has quite an aversion to the feeling of grass. He seems to find the texture funny. But, the dogs can lure him outside. He spends most of his time in the yard stalking Lou or Cy.

In this picture, Chase has Cyrus's tail in his hand. Next, the tail will end up in his mouth.

Chase is still happy but we are exhausted!

The video below does not have much action but the commentary is kinda funny.

Lilac Sunday: Re-mix

Chase celebrated a 2nd Lilac Sunday today. This time we were at Shelburne Museum with Brady. Again, Chase's favorite part of the day was a picnic.

Brady!

Chase and Brady reunited for a walk in the woods. Three dogs, three adults, and two babies made quite a parade today.

Babe Watching

Today we brought Chase to the Farmers' Market, then to our friend Ned's art exhibit, and then (right before he lost his mind) we got him lunch. While we were waiting for the world's smallest crepe to arrive, Chase and Dave spent some time people watching. They hid behind a tree so that they could spy on all the college babes walking by. I felt a little awkward sitting on the patio, pretending not to know what was going on.

Hockey Tourn-y: We Lost

A couple of weeks ago, Dave brought Chase to route me on in a Black Ice tournament. It did not help much; we lost all four games. But, Chase was certainly entertained. We plan to start him on skates next winter. He will have to make up for his lack of athletic genes with lots of practice.

Saying Good-bye

Last Supper

Our wonderful baby-sitter is leaving VT for the summer. We are sad to see her go so we asked her to cook us one last supper in order to remember her by. Chase did not realize that it was mourning time and, instead, he laughed his way through dinner.

Aska is a bit crazy but Chase loves her so we do not mind.

A Bundle Was Born

When I told Chase that his best friend had been born, he became very pensive and serious. Then, he decided to go visit Baby G and have a little fun.

He liked meeting the little guy but did not like posing for pictures.

Chase learned some new tricks while his mama snuggled up a new baby. Chase knew he had to do something cute quickly or he might be replaced by the sweetest little munchkin.

This baby has a pianist's toes.

Before we left, both boys practiced their gangster faces and made plans for many future play dates! We love you Gray!
