Cocoa Season

Love this picture Steph took of the boys enjoying the last sips of homemade hot chocolate the other night.  Dave and I had gone out to dinner and the boys we happy to have some Steph-time.

pre-Halloween

From fake bone fingers to batty wreaths, we are ready for Halloween.

We met up with the Farmers (Bermans) at the corner  to walk to a neighborhood Halloween party together.  They were impressed to see three batty bats and one walking bat house.

Too bad my camera ran out of batteries on the way to the party.  It was a blast.  Tons of little kids neighbors, tents set as bat caves, glow sticks for everyone, and great food.   Loving the "Addition Neighborhood" feel right about now!

Saturday Morning

Max and I went to the annual downtown Burlington Church St. trick-or-treat event this morning while Dave and Chase went to the first skating class of the year.  Both boys enjoyed a little one-on-one time.

Fri-ends

Just some funny friend pics...  Above, Max is chilling with Alana on a baby mat.  He is liking being pants-less with all the potty training going on.

Below, some new friends came to celebrate Shabbat with us.  Delicious wine and challah + a star of David cake + good company = a nice way to start the weekend.

Dr. Chuck

The boys went to a dentist appointment lately - first visit for Max and first cleaning for Chase.  Both did well.  Supposedly, Chase has a very small mouth.  Funny that he is still so loud!

Turtle Back Again

We went to the Turtle Back Zoo again when we were in NJ last weekend.  My good friend's son joined us.  Unfortunately, I only got pics of the boys from behind.  In these pics, they were liking the llamas.

Thursday at SF (again)

The last story hour of the season...complete with a visit from Zippy.

Then a trip up the hill to a great picture spot.

I'm the last one left standing with enough patience for portraits.

Open Gym

The Daves took four of the five Ber/Gurt-man children to open gym the other morning.  I was happily playing hockey but it was fun to see the pics.

Soccer Graduation

Chase graduated from his Itty Bitty Soccer class.  On the last evening, they tried an actual scrimmage.  Not sure how much skill Chase learned...but he had fun!

Night Out

We had a great evening neighborhood adventure the other day.  Burlington Beer (a local brewer) was having an event on Flynn from 6-8, a perfect time for a family event.  Dave and I went to try beers but Chase and Max got more entranced by the Taiko drummers practicing in the building.

After the short walk home, Dave read the boys their bedtime story.  Luckily, we have the video below to help us relive the evening.

Hockey Tournament

My supportive men (all five of them, including the dogs) came to cheer me on in my hockey tournament this weekend.  Between games, we played out in the fields around the rink.
