Funny Jared

Cold Walk

Everyone was glad to get out for a cold, icy walk this afternoon.

Chase posed with the boys at RedRocks. And, then everyone else posed too: Lina & Ty, Jared & Gisele, and us.

Date with Aska

Aska took Chase on a date to ECHO.

He loved the turtles and the frogs.

And, he also seemed to have fun with whatever these blocks are....

Showing off for Guests

We have 5 college friends in town and Chase has been doing his best to show off for them. He put on his headband, found a paci, and filled his cart with every bit of play food he could find. Everyone was impressed.

But, they may have been equally impressed but the delicious fish tacos that Dave made.

Valentine

Chase loved this valentine suit that his babysitter got him.

And, in it, he attracted a very nice valentine.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Before dropping Grandy off at the airport, we all went to Chase's school to celebrate Valentine's Day with a "Friendship Breakfast". Chase enjoyed pancakes with one of his teachers.

He stuffed everyone's envelopes with valentines.

And, showed us the card that he made to take home.

Farm

We went to Shelburne Farms with the camera this weekend but you wouldn't know it considering these are the only photos we got.

Valentines Prep

This weekend, Grandy came up for a last minute visit. Chase had a lot of fun reading the book she brought up over and over again.

Grandy (but mainly Chase's babysitter, Steph) helped Chase make valentines for his classmates. He had 13 to make and got pretty distracted after about 3 or 4.

Superbowl

Super-nacho-bowl with Livi and Audrey. These kids, who do not get to watch much t.v., we pretty enthralled with the show.

Livi got ready to sweat for the half-time show. But, Chase and Audrey were the real dancers.

Octagon + Family = FUN!

For some reason, Chase likes to get really wacky with his Aunt Anna. He turns into a real weirdo and tries to make her laugh at him.

Though we had good intentions, we did not make it cross-country skiing today....to much cleaning and oversleeping. So, instead, Chase rode in his pulk sled for a little walk. He loves it!

Jay Peak

Chase got a good view of all the construction happening at Jay Peak from his dad's shoulders. They just built a spa and ice hockey rink and have an indoor water park in the works.

We took Chase to lunch at the resort restaurant before Dave took off for a half day of skiing. Chase liked the poutine.

While everyone else was enjoying fresh snow on the mountain, Chase and I made the most of bathtime. He loved the jets in the tub and was a total goofball with the bubbles.

Wild Man

Even the simplest things can be so entertaining....

Snow Day Fun?

Snow days are kinda fun and kinda boring. Luckily, this big box came in the mail. First, the contents provided some entertainment. Then, the packaging was loads of fun. Finally, the box became Chase's canvas for a masterpiece.
