Chase went to his first birthday party, for his friend Brady. We got there late so by the time we arrived, Brady was already tuckered out from all the fun.
Chase tried cake for the first time. It was a sugar-free carrot cake sweetened with apple juice. Yum?
Chase gave Erin a big good-bye smile and thanked her with a sticky, cake-y hand pat to the face.
When I see you in a few weeks Chase I'll sneak out to Black Dog with you and get you a cupcake made with refined and bleached sugar. None of this carrot apple juice BS. Maybe we'll go to the penny candy store too! -Uncle Jon
