Hunts 2-4!

We had a delicious Easter breakfast with Robin and spent time looking for eggs in his backyard.

Then, we went to another gorgeous spot in Charlotte and helped Livi and Audrey find eggs at their house.  The scene was like one out of a movie - good food, good friends, and lots of cute kids.

And, lastly, we joined neighborhood kids for a hunt at Sammy's.  Poor Max!  We thought he'd have the hang of it by the late afternoon, but he was left in the big kids' dust.

Easter at home!

Easter was busy - with four hunts!  The first occurred bright and early in our house.

Sprung

Beautiful Spring day for a Dutch Baby, some baseball and a playdate with Lydia!

Seder (for the old and young)

The boys helped me cook for Passover this year.  They particularly liked making the matzoh crunch!

On Thursday, we had our adult seder.  Friends dressed like plagues and we all listened to Evan sing.  Even Elijah showed up!

On Saturday, we had our neighborhood kids' seder which is getting crowded as everyone keeps procreating.

The kids made their own plague masks...

....ate their own matzoh ball soup....

and watched as Chase found the afikomen for the third year in a row!

Fishing?

Sugar on Shelburne Farms Snow

Another year at the annual Sugar on Snow Event at Shelburne Farms.  The big difference this year?  Chase got to be the sugar tester.  Farmer Kat asked Chase to sprinkle the syrup on to the trough of snow to see how quickly it hardened.  Then we got to eat the "candy".

Last Snow

Sammy, Hazel and Alana came over to celebrate the last snow of the season.  We did some EXTREME sledding down our tiny driveway.

Awesome lean!
