Whales Tails Date
Dave and I took Max on a special all-by-himself-no-big-brother date to Whales Tails. He insisted on walking the whole way there by himself despite the fact that it was frigid!
Little Skier Man
Chase has really become a proficient skier. He comes down the mountain so fast that I barely had time to catch a video and definitely did not take an pics. In this vid, he is the orange helmet zooming down the left side of the screen. In that background, that is Max whining - ugh!
Mister Chris
We have ditched Raf - sorry - for the more interactive music of Mister Chris. Chase loves making it "rain scarves". Check out Chase's plumber's crack.
Afterward, Chase built an amazing balance tower. I love these blocks.
Valentine's Day at School
Even though Valentine's Day fell on a Thursday (my day off), we went in to the boys' school for a Friendship Breakfast and card-giving session.
The boys loved their loot.
Valentines Day Eve
When Dave and I got home from our annual day-before-Valentine's-Day-date, we found beautiful valentines that the boys made for us with Steph.
Max's First Ice Skating
Max inherited cool pink ice skates from Steph's little sister. He tried them out at itty bitty skating last week. All went well - better than I could have imagined.
Chase's skating is sooo slow. It is hard to be enthusiastic when all I am really thinking is, "hurry up, hurry up"!
Daddy's Hockey Game
Steph and Poppy recently brought the boys to one of Dave's hockey games. Dave's team plays at Gutterson Arena at UVM...it is strange to see the bleachers so empty.
The boys are serious fans. Poppy is not.

Max Time
While Chase has been enjoying skiing and skating, I have been enjoying some Max-time. This weekend, Grandy and I took Max to Church Street and Penny Cluse. As Max would say, "yay!".
2nd Attempt
The boys prepared the tackle box for our second attempt at ice fishing (turns out it didn't matter - we do not have luck/experience/knowledge).
A sled ride to the lucky (unlucky) fishing spot.
Sitting and waiting. Waiting and sitting. Not really "fishing"...
