Spring Has Sprung

Max kept a watchful eye over everything while we worked on our garden this weekend.

Old Friends, New Digs

Audrey and Livi, and their parents, moved out of town this week so we went to visit their new home. It was a beautiful day to see their beautiful property.

Sweet Dreams

Max was thoroughly tuckered out by the big day but went to bed with a smile on his face.

2nd Hunt

Chase went to Sammie's house for another Easter egg hunt in her backyard. It was great, except Chase got the least amount of eggs by far. He doesn't seem to mind, though.

He was mostly enthused by the pink Barbie Jeep.

And, he also liked the whipped cream for dessert. Small pleasures for this guy.

Easter

The Easter Bunny came for Chase this morning. He was so excited. And, the dogs were happy too since they each ate at least three hard boiled eggs a piece.

The bunny hid eggs all over. Hopefully, Chase found them all.

Only at the end of the hunt did he realize that some of the eggs actually had candy inside!

This his how good chocolate tastes when you do not get it very often.

Easter Portrait

Above is an Easter portrait taken last year and below is one from this morning. Observations: Dave and I look much worse for the wear, Max has big ears, we cannot even manage (nor do we care about) getting two dogs in the frame anymore), Chase has a horrible camera smile and we are all too tired to keep our eyes open.

Many Faces of Max

When Max was first born, I used to think he was so unattractive. Just recently, he is really coming into his own and looking pretty darn cute!

Complications

With a second child, every single thing has become more complicated, included laundry and naptime - both of which were supposed to be achieved during the time that these pictures were taken.
