Diaper Change Escapades

Nana Sue had more than her fair share of diaper changes this week. She keeps Chase so happy on the changing tables. Watch how his arms and legs flap all over the place.

Sue kept promising that Chase could roll over. We did not get a real video of it but we watched him do it on Halloween.

We made it, we're moved in!

Thanks to Jeremy and the crew at O'Neill Builders, we are in! Check it.

What You've Missed.

We have been bad about posts for several reasons. First, on Saturday, we finally moved into our new home. It is great to be here but it means lots of boxes to unpack. Second, I went back to work on Tuesday. Chase was lucky that his Nana Sue came up to stay with him for the week. Supposedly, while I was gone, he learned to roll over and he never cried once. I did not believe Sue so I checked with my builder (who is still here) and he confirmed: the baby is much happier now that Sue is here to talk to him and play with him all day long.

Happy family in our new home.

How I Spent the Morning

The house is almost there . . .

Saturday Night

Chase got all dressed up to go to his first birthday party.

There, he got to snuggle with pretty women while his dad played Rockband.

Once he passed out in his seat, we knew it was time to go home.

Cute Kid

Chase recently emerged from a minor awkward phase during which his double chin was bigger than his neck. Now, he is quite cute again.

Toot-in-common

Chase takes after his dad is some ways more than others....

Guard Dogs and Babies

The dogs like to guard Chase

while Chase guards the beer.

Weekly Events

This week, Chase got kisses from his dad,

he laughed a lot,

he was awake when he should have been sleeping,

and he started wearing his 3-6 month clothing, all of which are pretty cute.

Sunday Expedition

Chase dressed up and looked pretty hip for our Sunday mission to a new farm in Shelburne.

Hanging on Spear

This is our house on Spear Street. It is pretty good accommodation while we are waiting for our real home to be done. We have to be quite creative to think up things to do to pass our time in our one room rental.

Sometimes, we chill with the dogs....

Sometimes, we chill with each other....

And, sometimes, we dress Chase up funny and laugh at him.

Often, we need to get out of the house and chill with friends.

This video does not show anything and is pretty boring. But, it shows how much Chase has grown and how he can entertain himself lately.

Armchair Issues

Chase was minding his business and posing nicely for a photo shoot when Louie decided to get involved. That was not so bad; they both fit nicely on the armchair.

But, Cyrus tipped the balance. Too many men on the armchair and one fell off......

Mi Niño

Dave and his men all enjoyed a beautiful Sunday. It is hard to believe that this nice fall weather is the precursor to winter. We heard this weekend, from a very knowledgeable source, that the El Niño weather patterns predicts that we will have the coldest winter ever.

Family Rule: No dog kissing on the lips! - Dave breaks this rule all the time. Disgusting.

Chase tried on Dave's glasses to shed a little more light on the big question of who he resembles most (or at all)....

Uh-Oh

This is what happens with Dave does the plumbing.

Fall Foliage

Chase took us all for a walk in the Green Mountains on Saturday. The foliage was at its peak, which you would never be able to tell by looking at the washed out pics from my point & shoot camera.

Party at the Octagon

This weekend, Chase partied it up at the Octagon. His weekend began with a Murder Mystery Extravaganza for his Uncle Po's birthday party. On Saturday night, he then hosted some couples to a fall meal of chicken & dumplings and apple upside-down cake. Chase loved getting held all the time despite having a cold that kept him (and his parents) up all night.

So happy in Jay's lap.
