Sushi Man

One of our favorite baby foods has always been sushi. It is mushy and nutrient full. Max had his first taste of better-than-grocery-store-stuff tonight on an outing with Poppy. Tempura and avocado rolls were his fav. Chase and Poppy preferred the green tea ice cream.

Hearty, Hearty

On Sunday afternoons, we are part of a neighborhood play group. We are raising these VT boys to be tough. This Sunday, we met at a playground...in the cold and the dark.

Good thing we came home to hot chocolate.

Lost Lou

We spent New Years Eve in New Jersey. While there, we got the message that Louie had run away from the dog-sitter's house. He ended up spending two nights and three days out in the woods before we finally found him under a railroad bridge in Winooski. Throughout the chaos of arriving back in VT and looking for Louie, the boys stayed in surprisingly good spirits. In fact, they seem fussier and whiney in stress-free situations. I wonder what that says about our lifestyles...

Airport Fun

Somehow, the airport in Provenciales is the most disorganized place on Earth. The line to get through security was two hours long. Luckily, Chase let Baby Max ride on his lap in the stroller.

Grace Bay

Last pics of our view from Aquamarine Guest Houses in Turks & Caicos.

Tennis and baby wrangling....

.

Chase loved playing beach tennis. He would get awfully silly during our evening cocktail on the beach (even though he did not have any cocktails!).

Baby Max tried to keep up...but he kept getting sand in his mouth, and ears, and eyes, and every where else.

We were sad when our trip was over. Grace Bay was so beautiful and our guest house was the perfect accommodation. It really was the ideal vacation.

Snorkeling

Dave tried out my new Christmas/Hanukkah present: a waterproof camera. Grandy baby-sat the boys while Anna, Jon, Dave and I checked out the coral reef.

Baby Max was happy when we emerged.

Sunset Beach

Pina coladas on the beach right in front of our house.

We are all feeling pretty good right about now (except Max who has two teeth popped through and Chase who has a case of the 2-year-old-blues).
