School Holiday Concert

I could not make it to Chase's holiday concert this year so Steph took Maeve and Max and met Dave there. I heard that Chase's class performed a smashing rendition of Jingle Bells.

Hanukkah

When Vanessa and Dave suggested celebrating Hanukkah early this year, we were all about it since we will be traveling during the bulk of the holiday this year. We want to get a full eight days in so that the boys can get all their presents! It was also an easy decision because it means more family dinners with our neighbors.

Silly Men

Chase and Max have such different personalities - but both are very silly. Chase even tries to make "jokes" lately, though he is the only one who gets them....

Trimming the Tree

We went to Sammy's house for tree trimming since our short/fat tree lives outside. Chase and Sammy were moved by the holiday season.

Poppy's Birthday

We made a chocolate cake for Poppy's birthday. Chase was really into the frosting.

Oh, Christmas Tree?

We sent Poppy out to select our outdoor tree this year. I asked for a tree that was "5-6 feet tall and soft branches". Poppy came back with a tree that was 4 feet tall, 5 feet wide, and super prickly.
