At Cousin Robin's House
I think that this photo is very artistic because it captures different parts of so many people or dogs. How many beings do you see? Answer: 6 (if you include Pete's hand holding Robin.)
These two are fourth cousins which means (I think) that their great-great grandparents were siblings. They were born 6 days apart and Robin will go to the elementary school where I work. So, they are destined to hang out with each other whether they like it or not. Right now, they remain unsure about each other.

Likeness
I have been meaning to scan babier baby pictures of us so that we can decide who Chase most resembles. Usually, we just marvel at the fact that he looks nothing like either of us. Here are two pics from the first years of our lives to compare.
It is hard to spend most of all day, everyday at home with Chase. We run out of things to do. And, the photo shoots always seem to be from strange angles.
This boy is certainly gaining some thighs. What I do not understand is if all of Chase's nutrition is coming directly from me, why am I not losing weight in direct correlation with what he gains? Those thighs are certainly worth a couple of pounds each.
I think, but I might be wrong, that this video demonstrates extremely advanced behavior. Not only does he take the paci out of his mouth but he gently places it back in. That is definitely 2 month old ability.

Chase got ready for the beach and then slept the whole time he was there. It is hard to enjoy the ocean when he can neither hang out in the sun nor go in the water.
After all the adventure on MV, we headed home to VT. We were such a mess trying to manage several suitcases, a playpen, two dogs and a baby on the ferry. The car trip is doubled by the fact that we have to stop every couple of hours to nurse. I think that the whole thing was worth it but I am still not totally convinced...
We got home to Uncle Po's house and turned his bachelor pad into a baby kingdom. I still cannot get over that this is my life now. I think that the dogs are in shock too.
Going to the Yacht Club
Photo Shoot
Chase was exhausted after his photo shoot. It is kind of embarrassing how long we can spend looking at him or taking his pictures. It just seems like he is changing by the minute. Tomorrow he has a Dr. appt so we will see for sure how much he has grown.
This is his Dr. Evil pose.
This is his Homeboy rapper pose.
Ready to Go
